The Practice has the ability to tackle any types of temporary works (below and above ground) associated with rail, civil/geotechnical engineering, building and marine projects.
We are experienced in the design of proprietary formwork and falsework systems, modular propping systems and heavy-duty bridge props as well as facade retention systems and so on.
We have detailed many projects involving various types of excavation support systems. These include traditional raking basement propping, cofferdams, ground anchored contiguous bored pile walls, and top-down basement methods. We have conducted many fully independent checks of temporary works for Principal Contractors.
Marine works and related matters have also been dealt with by the practice. These include general harbour works, jetties, berthing dolphins, temporary bridge piers and the Nab Tower in the Solent.
